Called in for a quick drink after visiting the Intrepid. Ended up staying for 4. Great bar with a lovely owner who is great to chat to. Also, a fantastic pint of Guiness.
Historic building. Should be a landmark. Great Irish band on Monday nights! In the corporate city that is NY, I hope they hang in there!
Although we didn't dine at this restaurant, the bartender was a friendly man who has been living here for over 40 years. Fortunately, he had not lost his accent. We enjoyed sitting outside on the side street, watching the 5pm traffic frustratingly crawl by at 1.5mph.
This restaurant is a charming and cozy neighborhood gem.
